Nini Purwajati is a Senior Program Manager with 100 Resilient Cities – Pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation (100RC) Asia Pacific Office in Singapore. She has been working closely with 100RC member cities in Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. In her current role, Nini is focusing in managing the partnership with member cities in Indonesia, India and Malaysia. This includes a co-moderator role for Water as Leverage program with the Netherland Government in Semarang. Nini has more than 7 years experience working on urban, housing and governance issues with strength in bridging communication between stakeholders from local NGOs, international NGO, academics, local governments, national government and the UN. Prior to 100RC, she worked for Mercy Corps Indonesia as the Semarang 100RC local partner where she supported the city in developing and releasing their city resilience strategy. Before that, she worked in UN-Habitat Indonesia, Indonesian Ministry of Housing and Habitat Indonesia National Secretariat. She graduated from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia with a Bachelor degree in Urban and Regional Planning. She also received her Master’s degree in Property and Development from the University of New South Wales under an Australia Award Scholarship from DFAT.
