Nicole Bohrer

Associate, Global Communications and Marketing

Nicole brings an international development background to her current role on the 100 Resilient Cities communications team. Prior to joining 100RC, Nicole spent 2+ years at the Huairou Commission, where she focused on strategic and creative communications to amplify grassroots women’s voices in sustainable development processes; additionally acting as a key organizer for the Commission’s urban development work. Nicole previously served in the Peace Corps in the northern highlands of Guatemala, as an Agricultural Marketing Specialist to small associations of farmers and artisans in collaboration with Save the Children USA.

Nicole holds a BA in Economics and Global Studies from Lehigh University and an MA in Economics from The New School for Social Research, where her research focused on increasing investment in women artisans in developing countries.
