Michael Odermatt is the Special Assistant to the President of 100 Resilient Cities. He joined 100RC as a Project Associate after working in a strategic research and communications role during the 2013 New York City Mayoral Election cycle. His responsibilities included coordinating all aspects of on-the-ground opposition research, including data analysis, media interactions as well as rapid response communications. His previous experience includes work as an Analyst with Citigroup’s Anti-Money Laundering Control Unit from 2009-2012, where he was involved in the rollout and execution of projects as diverse as an annual Global Town Hall among stakeholders, the rollout of new AML tracking technology, and in-house research toward future market and policy analyses. Michael also worked in an editorial/content production role while at the University of Pittsburgh, with The Pitt Political Review.
Michael holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Public and International Affairs degree from its Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, with a specialization in International Political Economy.
