Elischa Vella joined 100 Resilient Cities as an Executive Assistant to Lauren Sorkin, Managing Director. Elischa is a trained emergency nurse, specializing in disaster response and humanitarian aide work.
Elischa served as a coordinating nurse for International SOS on medical repatriations, in flight assistance programs and a nurse educator for chronic illnesses and medical research.
Originally from Australia, Elischa has lived in South East Asia for ten years. During this time, Elischa has meaningfully been involved on the medical team of Operation Smile medical missions, accompanying surgeons to remote areas of South East Asia to repair cleft lip and palate. Elischa has also actively been involved in humanitarian aide work in South East Asia including projects in orphanages to promote awareness of chronic health conditions and logistic aide to water sanitization and infrastructure.
