Chris Meyer

Chief Operating Officer

As chief operating officer and chief of staff, Chris serves as part of the senior management team helping 100RC set, prioritize and follow through on its goals.

Prior to joining 100RC, Chris worked with the Rockefeller Family Fund on climate change and income inequality issues.  Before that, he served as Vice President for Advocacy at Consumers Union, the policy and action arm of Consumer Reports.  Chris was in charge of overseeing state and federal campaigns on health care, food safety and financial equity issues, as well as building an online network of more than one million activists.  Chris started his public interest career as an organizer with the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), New York State’s largest student-directed consumer and environmental research and advocacy organization, eventually serving as executive director.  At NYPIRG, Chris helped lead campaigns on municipal waste, water quality and lead poisoning issues.
