Across Latin America and the Caribbean, cities in the 100 Resilient Cities network share many common challenges, and their collaboration and respective impact on the ground present a unique opportunity for an integrated and effective resilience agenda for the whole region.
This is why we are so excited to share the Urban Resilience Prospectus for Latin American and the Caribbean, which showcases some of projects that 6 of our 16 member cities in the region are implementing to drive resilience in their cities.
From comprehensive citywide plans such as Mexico City’s Seismic Recovery Plan to specific territorial interventions such as Santa Fe, Argentina’s Parque del Norte, these projects offer opportunities for partnership, investment, and impact thanks to the resilience value they bring – from strengthening urban economies to improving human lives for generations to come.
